About Our Conference

Our organization, Overcomers Outreach Cedar Hill TX, will host the 6th annual World Convention of Overcomers International. Overcomers serves as a bridge to churches and many recognized Bible based recovery programs such as AA, NA, Regeneration, James Group, Pursuit, Celebrate Recovery and more. We exist to collaborate and interact with anyone who participates in a faith-based recovery program. Our membership is made up of people who deal with life’s various health challenges like Pornography, Drugs, Alcohol, Mental Health, Codependency and more.

Our events happen on January 25 & 26^th, 2019 at the Cedar Hill Church of Christ located at 535 S Clark Rd Cedar Hill, TX 75104. The event is open to the public. Faith Leaders, family & friends who deal with any aspect of life’s hurts habits & hang-ups will find answers support and help.

Pre-Convention Leadership Forum:
“Speak and Listen to the Church”.

Friday 10:30 am – 2:30 pm

A roundtable discussion entitled “Speak and Listen to the Church”. This open exchange of ideas is designed to present information and foster thoughts and ideas from church leaders and health care providers. Our world is changing and evolving rapidly we believe the church should not sit by idly and not address tough subjects.

Topics to include: Families, sex, mental health, government and judicial, sustainable prescription pricing, smoking, trauma, drugs, alcohol, medical assisted therapy, codependency, pharmacy, faith treatment, intervention, peers, family life center, homelessness, child care, law enforcement/incarceration, NA, politics, fatherhood.
